Itinerary:

DAY 01 – MANILA / DAVAO

  • Arrive Davao. Meet and transfer to the hotel
    • Davao well known for its pearl and banana export industries. Also is the industrial center and convention capital of Mindanao. It is also the site of Mt. Apo, the country’s highest peak and home to the rare Philippine Eagles, the country’s national bird. It is also famous for its exotic fruits such as the Durian, Pomelo, Lanzones and Rambutan
  • Rest of the day at leisure
  • Overnight accommodation

DAY 02 - DAVAO   (B)

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Halfday – DAVAO CITY TOUR
    • The tour will includes the visit to San Pedro Cathedral – an amazing marriage of Roman Catholic and Muslim architecture, the Cathedral was conceived to promote brotherhood and friendship between the two dominant religions. Dabaw Museum – Get a glimpse of the rich culture of Mindanao’s many tribes like the Bagobos, known for meticulous chisel-worked of their weapons and tools; the Mandayas traditionally trained in the art of weaving; the Mansakas, known to be adept silversmiths; the Manobos, the river dwellers; and the Bila-ans, the Malay people occupying the interior region of Bulatukan River and Saranggani province.  Orchid Gardens – The Malagos and Puentespina orchid gardens are showrooms for a wide variety of orchids, including the rare Waling-Waling. Near the Puentespina Garden is the Lon Wa Temple, the biggest Buddhist temple in Mindanao. It’s Buddha statues and woodcarving are well  worth the visit
